All software to be installed on UF-owned computers must be licensed for business or academic use. The only exceptions are for Open-Source or Freeware software. Any Shareware software must be licensed according to the author's guidelines.

Each unit is responsible for its own licenses, and must be able to provide proof of license for every installed software package should the unit be audited for compliance. In the event of an audit, CLASnet will help by providing a copy of all licenses registered with us. Thus, it is in the unit's best interest to ensure our license list is kept up to date.
