Via Novell Zenworks, CLASnet provides server-based software to our Windows-based PC clients. Many applications are restricted by their license, so not all of these programs will be available by default. Your department contact may provide us with your proof of license, and we can then enable the software for your use.
Software installs are handled differently for other Operating Systems. Applications for MacOS are installed locally by CLASnet technicians or departmental contacts. Applications for Unix systems are handled by our Unix staff.

We are unable to provide any technical assistance for certain software packages. The software may have known bugs, cause security problems, or even send your personal information to remote servers without your express consent. Some violate the UF Acceptable Use Policy. We cannot recommend the use of any of these programs on a campus computer, and will help you find a supportable replacement.
