CLAS users receive email from many sources, and addressed to a variety of different email addresses which all converge on your account. Every CLAS user is automatically subscribed to at least one departmental list when their account is created.

Instructors frequently like to be able to hold conversations or send information to students in their courses. CLAS offers course mailing lists which your students can subscribe to.

For special projects, committees, and other uses, CLAS offers general mailing lists. These lists can be created and deleted for any duration and used for non-course-specific academic communication.
