CLAS can offer mailing lists for courses. The course lists are given names such as sa05-1234@clas.ufl.edu, which would be for section 1234 during the Summer A semester of 2005. Web-based archives of messages sent to these lists are available, if requested by the list administrator in the Comments field below at the time of list creation.

These mailing lists are to be administered by the course instructor, and are purged at the end of each semester. Many of the normal list administration tasks (subscribe, unsubscribe) are handled via the Majordomo software. It is the instructor's responsibility to help the students subscribe to the list via Majordomo.

In order for us to create a class mailing list, we will need some information about the relevant course, as listed with the UF Registrar. Fields other than comments and preferred password are required.

Please note that we do not supply accounts for your students. Instead, they should subscribe their GatorLink or other existing accounts to the list.
