The ocora, officially room 102, is the entry hall and utility meeting space in Pugh Hall. On the west wall there is a large display made of four plasma screens, managed by a video splitter.
Turn the ocora quad-screen on and off, and select inputs, with the
PDP Remote Control which is in the cabinet. It helps to
stand directly in front of the screen, rather than off to the side,
and hold the remote up high. Watch the screen for changes as you work
the remote control.
Use the Input A button to toggle between inputs. The
current input will appear in green text on the upper, right corner of
the screen when it switches. Please turn the screen completely off
when you are done with it. There is a small LED in the lower right
corner which is red when the screen is off, and green when the screen
is on.
The screen is fed from these primary inputs:
| Video 1 | VCR/DVD player |
|---|---|
| Video 2 | VCR with campus cable |
| PC 2 | Dell computer |
The Dell computer can play DVDs as well as CDs. If you use the PC, you can lift the keyboard, mouse and LCD monitor on to the top of the cabinet for easier access.
Please put them back inside and turn off the PC before re-locking the cabinet at the end of your use.
