Getting Help
If you need general information you can look at the How-To section of our web pages or ask your department contact. If you need specific assistance with your computer or any CLAS service, please ask your contact. Departmental computer contacts are the first point of contact for every CLAS user. They can answer most day-to-day questions, and escalate problems to the CLASnet staff as needed.
CLAS Resources
All CLAS users have an email account, web space, and disk space to store files. File space includes both personal storage and shared space where you can store files and other people will have access to them. Users with desktop Windows PCs can access the web and other file spaces through automatically mapped drive letters. MacOS users can mount server drives.
Other Resources
All UF employees and students have a GatorLink account which provides your email address and access to password-protected information on campus web sites including MyUFL.
Academic Technologies offers a number of additional services, including:
- E-Learning
- Classroom Support
- Grove computer system
- UF Plaza personal web sites
Please note, the university and CLAS may send you official correspondence to your GatorLink address. You are accountable for reading and acting upon such messages, so do not ignore your UF email.
